We are still shipping HDPE and PHD skid plates to the USA.
These products have much lower tariffs applied (0–25%) compared to aluminum.

A Note on Customs

While we do everything possible to provide accurate tariff information, final charges are always determined by U.S. Customs at the border. We are committed to being transparent so you know what to expect before you buy.

2. Brokerage & Processing Fees

  • UPS, FedEx, and DHL may charge customs clearance (brokerage) fees in addition to any duties or taxes. These vary by carrier and service level.

  • UPS Standard® shipments from Canada to the U.S. often have a brokerage fee in the $10–$20 USD range, while Express/Saver services usually include brokerage in the shipping cost.

3. Possible Delays

  • Since the removal of the U.S. de minimis exemption (which previously allowed duty-free entry for shipments under $800 USD), all shipments now require formal customs clearance.

  • CBP and courier brokerage teams are processing higher volumes than usual, which may occasionally result in clearance delays beyond our control. Delays are estimated at 7 days.

4. Tips for a Smoother Delivery

  • Select express shipping services where possible to include brokerage in your shipping cost and reduce clearance delays.

  • Track your shipment regularly and be ready to pay any duties/fees directly to the courier if requested.

    This makes them the most affordable and worry-free choice for American customers.
