Sterk Products started with one simple goal: protect our son's ATV.
After buying our son's first Polaris Outlaw 110, we wanted to protect it before taking it out on the trails. Like many parents, we knew it was only a matter of time before rocks, roots, and rough trails took their toll. We started looking for quality skid plates and quickly realized there weren't many options available—and the ones we found weren't what we were looking for.
So we decided to build our own.
What started as a way to protect one ATV soon turned into something much bigger. Friends and fellow riders started asking if we could build one for them too. That's when we realized we weren't the only parents looking for better protection.
That's how Sterk Products was born.
We're a family-owned business based in Canada, and we're passionate about helping riders protect their machines and enjoy the outdoors.
Our first products were designed with youth ATVs in mind because that's where our journey began. We wanted parents to spend less time worrying about expensive repairs and more time making memories with their kids on the trails.
Why Protection Matters
One hidden rock or tree stump can damage engine cases, frame rails, brake components, and other vulnerable parts of an ATV. A quality skid plate is one of the smartest upgrades you can make, helping prevent expensive repairs and keeping you on the trail instead of in the garage.
We believe it's better to protect your ATV before something happens—not after.
Growing One Product at a Time
Our very first product was an aluminum skid plate for the Polaris Outlaw and Sportsman 90 & 110.
As more riders discovered Sterk Products, they began asking us for protection for other machines. Listening to our customers has always shaped what we do.
That led us to develop skid plates for the Yamaha Raptor and Grizzly 90 & 110, followed by the Can-Am Renegade 110. From there, we continued expanding our lineup with products like transmission skid plates, brake conversion kits, disc guards, and other accessories designed to protect and improve the riding experience.
As our business grew, we also partnered with XRW Racing Parts and are now proud to be their exclusive North American distributor. This allows us to offer riders an even wider selection of premium ATV accessories from a brand we trust and use ourselves.
Even though we've grown, our goal hasn't changed: build and offer products we'd proudly install on our own machines while providing the kind of customer service we'd expect ourselves.
